Missionary Birthdays, our Anniversary at the Holocaust Museum, and Valentines Day!

On August 26, 2022, Norm celebrated his 71st birthday with our missionary friends at the mission office, both young and old. The Sister Leaders decorated our office door. In the evening, we went to dinner at Ted's Montana Grill in Rockville and had buffalo ribs. There was a picture of the Teton Peaks in the restaurant, and we told the waiter that our home was near there. He said, "If I lived there, I'd never move here!" So we were happy to tell him our purpose in coming to Maryland.

On February 7, 2023, Debbie celebrated her 68th birthday. Sister Susan Workman and Elder Rod Workman hosted a delicious dinner for President Todd Clarke (Feb. 5) and Debbie at their apartment. It was fun. We also had festivities in the office.

On Nov. 26, 2022, we celebrated our 46th anniversary by going to the Holocaust Museum with Connells and Workmans. We had fun with our friends but it is a most solemn place-- photos of victims going up in a huge hall, and room after room explaining and illustrating the tragedies of the Holocaust.

Norm and I had a romantic French dinner at la Madeleine, just blocks from our apartment. In the office, these two (Elder Awit on the right) showed the spirit of Valentines Day.
